Check Requirements
Ensure your Chapter will be located in an area with a minimum population of 7,500.

Contact NAJA
Contact us to speak with a Chapter Development Coordinator about starting a Chapter in your area.

Share the News
Share the news within your community to find a minimum of 20-30 others interested in helping establish a Junior Auxiliary Chapter in your area.

Host an Informational Meeting
At the Informational Meeting, representatives for NAJA will provide information on the history of JA, requirements for becoming an NAJA Chapter, and the advantages NAJA offers individuals, communities, and members.

Schedule an Organizational Meeting
At the Organization meeting, attendees will vote to become a Provisional Chapter, elect officers, and begin the process to become an Active Chapter in the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries.
Throughout this initial process and after the group’s time as a Provisional Chapter, NAJA Representatives will be there to guide and train members in establishing a strong and effective Active Chapter in their community.
